Azul Tex Mex was born on October 13th, just two years ago, with one dream: to share a little piece of Mexico in every dish. What started as a small vision has grown into a beloved local spot with two locations in Statesboro, GA —one at 408 S Main St and the other at 608 Brannen St — serving Mexican fast food full of flavor and authenticity.

In this short time, Azul has been recognized twice as the city’s Best All-Around Restaurant and this year as Best Mexican Restaurant, achievements that reflect the love and support of our community.

For owners Lorena Cisneros and Jorge San Juan, none of this would be possible without the loyalty of their customers, the hard work of their team, and the guidance and blessing of God..

“Great food! Was recommended by hotel staff, and they did not steer me wrong, been back twice, and will probably go again! No indoor seating, but a very nice outside sitting area, with tvs for watching sports, corn hole, and a lil put put for killing some time. All of our salsas, dressings, and signature seasonings are created in-house, following traditional methods that bring out bold, vibrant flavors. Even our aguas frescas — like passion fruit and horchata — are made here daily, using real ingredients and zero artificial mixes.
